This figure includes an average base salary of $124,469, with an additional $71,910 in potential earnings from bonuses, commissions, tips, and profit sharing. This blend of base and additional pay underscores the high value companies place on DPMs, reflecting the diverse roles they play within an organization.

These figures represent the median, or midpoint, of the salary ranges, calculated using Glassdoor’s proprietary Total Pay Estimate model and data collected from users. The additional pay, estimated at $71,888 per year, can come from various sources, including cash bonuses, commissions, tips, and profit sharing.

The total pay for DPMs can range from $155,000 to $254,000 annually, with base pay ranging from $101,000 to $154,000, and additional pay from $54,000 to $101,000. This range highlights the significant earning potential for those in this role, especially in companies that heavily rely on digital products.

Industry Variations

Interestingly, digital and creative companies like Apple and Adobe tend to value Data Product Managers more highly than traditional firms like JP Morgan Chase.
