Drill down is a capability that enables users to move from a general view of the data to a more specific one with a simple mouse click. For instance, a drill-down report displaying sales revenue by state allows users to select a state, click on it, and view sales revenue by county or city within that state. Additionally, users can drill back up to the previous level after drilling down to specific dimensions.
